The question is...
Does Final Dynasty own this forum?
Seems like all the big players (well, save Ensign) in the "Gladiator's Arena" are from FnlD, and I hope one one of you FnlD mods will answer the question before locking the thread.
Otherwise, I've seen some guild battles and you guys seem to get screwed over more often than not. Know that someone has noticed, haha...

Everyone gets screwed over at sometime.
I've versed FnlD in gvg a few times and they were some of the most enjoyable games I've had, win or loose.
All the FnlD guys who post here seem to have an indepth understanding of the game and I appreciate them taking the time to write up and discuss, in detail and helpfully. You should too.

The Final Dynasty guys seem to post and moderate this because they want to improve the level of play and discourse. I am not with them and can't say for sure. However, it isn't so radical to believe that if a group of people play together for a long time they start to share opinions from shared experiences. By this I only mean that they agree these forums are relevant, important, and improving the knowledge base of the guildwars community is a good thing.
I read this forum a lot and have tried out their builds a number of times. I don't always agree with what they say, but I do passively thank them for their contribution by continuing to read their posts and learn from them.
Same goes for Ensign and a few others. Cheers to people who have played this game long enough to know and self secure enough to share.
Edit: Typo

Haha, indeed. I was there in both of the last two games against True, very enjoyable.
As for 'us FnlD guys', I guess we just like to have an input. A couple of months ago the PvP section of Guru was fairly lacking in knowledge, and Inde wanted to change that. Wheel and I were made moderators, and through that some of the other members started posting more frequently. Since then Guru has become more and more recognised as a decent place to discuss PvP issues.
To quote the iQ motto; "Promote Quality, Discourage Crap".

Saw FniD on obs mode the other night against some low ranked team and i was pretty impressed tbh, not by the fact that they beat a low ranked team, which you'd expect, but because they did it despite having only one monk for the whole battle (the other didnt load at all) and taking a hammering early on. I thought for a long time it was going to be a shock defeat, but FniD pulled off a pretty remarkable turnaround considering the state of their morale after about 10 minutes. nice save.
As for guru, yes it has improved alot recently :-)

It's not only improved, it's also improved my gameplay somehow
And I must say, it's very kind of them to moderate and post on this forum, for us newbies

I did load, sadly I crashed at about 3 minutes just as we were pushing them back to their base. The last thing I saw as I froze up was a hammer warrior bearing down on me. Luckily as you say we were able to keep it together, once they realised I had actually crashed and could begin to compensate.

No, nothing has directly improved my gameplay more than this forum, and the spirit is most often helpful. I should have extended my thanks in the first post, but I'll do it now.
My sincere thanks to the veterans who take some time to help others out. May we meet one day in battle!

Yea, this forum is an excellent resource for us guys who can get it through their works internet filtering system It really gives you an insight on what is going out there when your stuck behind a desk.
I have learnt an awful lot about the PvP side of things from this site, and would like to thank all the contributors to this forum for helping me on the long narrow path of PvP wisdom.
Long may it continue

Yeah, I'd like to throw in my thanks as well. I don't have tons of time (or a decent guild, for that matter) to play, so anything that helps to make my learning curve a bit less steep is a good thing.
Keep up the good work, it's appreciated.

Losing our most important player to an err=7 or a crash is one of FnlD's trademarks. Vin's computer has a weird technical issue where sometimes he will lose input to his monitor. We have played entire games where Vin is playing by sound and having us call targets for him to use his skills on. As a result Vin can now recognize a lot of skills based on their sound.

I think that sounds just a bit freaky, but still very much impressed that he can do that

Ahem.
FnlD also have the best e-rappers in Guild Wars. Your forums are nothing short of amazingly hilarious. Therefore that makes them awesome.

Having only been in the guild for a fairly short amount of time, I have only witnessed it once. I have to say I was most impressed when it happened, and yet Vind was able to remain a fairly combat effective warrior through use of excellent communication.
Anyway, I'm sure all of us FnlD guys appreciate the thanks. Sometimes I feel like I'm digging myself a grave with the possibly overly strict moderation, but it seems like it is paying off. And it hasn't made me too unpopular in the process.
